About Us
The It Ain't About Us Music for Charity project was created by:
Moiko, (Georgia) Founder/President & CEO of Moiko Records as a result of wanting to do something to help others during the economic crisis. She asked herself, "What could be better than helping the Organizations that are already helping people in need." So this is for the Helpers.
Crystal Cartier, (Colorado) President & CEO Love Story Productions and Managing Director of Positive Force, Inc. a non profit Social Service Organization saw the value and the need and joined forces with Moiko to find the talent who would be willing to make the contribution. She single handedly recruited over 150 artists for the project and produced the following projects for multiple charities. Soul Of America, Cry For Africa, Moiko World Music, Instrumental Songs Of The Spirit, Reggae International, Candlelight Jazz
Lee Woods, (Colorado) VP Of Love Story Productions & Publishing & Positive Force Productions. He is an Electrical Engineer with adegree in Robotics. He is also a Certified Professional TV/Video Director, Award Winning , Producer, Camera Operator, Editor and lighting technician. He provides technical assistance & works as DJ , V/O and Video Productions to Create the commercials and videos for numerous projects.
John Muller (Greece), creator of "Word Graphics", provided the beautiful graphics and artwork that grace the project with elegance. He also wrote and sang the theme song, "It Ain't About Us" in collaboration with Sugar of Lead, also of Greece. John was also instrumental in signing over 50 artists enabling him to produce 5 albums to benefit Charities in Greece and the USA. Philip Watson (Texas) signed 20 artists and developed a double compilation project to help raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation in Fort Worth Texas and any other chapter that needs funding. A WISH FOR COUNTRY Vol 1 and A WISH FOR COUNTRY VOL 2
Xavier E (New York) signed 14 Artists and developed a project to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. Xavier E is actively touring and performing at fundraising events for his charity. POP GOES MOIKO
Bishop Mayfield (California) signed 20 artists and developed 2 albums to help raise money for the Monteray Jazz Festival School Charity to help the organization keep music in the schools.
Coraleena Ellis (London) Signed 10 Artists and Developed two Albums in colaboration with Crystal Cartier to raise Money for the Rebecca Pike Foundation in Mandeville Jamaica
Ben Vandagriff (California) Compiled an awesome Rock Album to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity. He signed 14 excited rock artists to participate in creating a beautiful rock album called Rockin For Humanity
Bob Mahnke (Kansas) Joined forces and helped the project from the very beginning by creating excellent public service announcements and publicized them on his own radio station the Moon. He later turned his station into a Exclusive Moiko Music Radio station KBLM, The Moon. KBLM is Moiko Records flagship internet radio station.
